Tea House Zen on the coast of Maine was founded in 2011, hosted by Nancy Hathaway, Senior Dharma Teacher in the international Kwan Um School of Zen founded by Korean Zen Master Seung Sahn in the 1980s. Providence Zen Center in Rhode Island, USA is the head temple of zen centers and zen groups of the Kwan Um School of Zen around the world. (Kwanumzen.org)

ZEN MEDITATION RETREAT
NOVEMBER 2,3 2024 Zen Retreat with Matt Keeler, JDPSN and Nancy Hathaway, Senior Dharma Teacher at the Morgan Bay Zendo
Saturday 9-3; Sunday, 8-3 or both days. Overnight possible.
Retreat begins 9AM with registration, introductions, sitting in the Zendo and walking meditation in the Zendo Moss Garden. Saturday will include yoga and Qigang, as well as optional meetings with the teachers. Vegitarian lunch in silience, rest / free time, Dharma talk, meditation, walking meditation in the Moss Garden; light supper, meditation and loving kindness chanting, bed. Sunday AM meditation 7-8AM Light b'fast, 9-10:30 meditation with the regular sangha, Dharma talk, alternating walking in the Zendo Moss Garden and sitting in the zendo, lunch and a closing meditaiton.
